Sparkling Water Making Kit for Homemade Seltzer & Carbonated Waters — Soda Stream Alternative
This Soda Stream alternative home carbonating kit allows you to carbonate any beverage of your choice. Make your own sparkling water, soda, seltzer water, juice, beer or almost any other beverage you can think of using the sleek 2 liter Stainless Steel Handled Growler. This kit allows you to 'bring your own' CO2 tank, so you can buy CO2 in bulk if you want to. Any CO2 tank with the standard CGA320 valve will work with this kit. The Stainless Steel Single Handle Mini Keg comes in 4 different sizes:

The kit is fully assembled and Includes:
- 2 Liter Stainless Steel Growler with Handle and Travelling Cap
- Draft Faucet and Carbonating Top Included
- Dual gauge Taprite CO2 regulator
- Gas Hose with Ball Lock Disconnect
This kit comes with everything that you will need, except the CO2 tank. You will need a standard-size CO2 tank in order to carbonate your beverages.
Carboating sodas, seltzers, and any other beverage at home is extremely easy with this setup! Everything you need to get started is included in this kit (all you need to do is get the CO2 tank filled - They ship empty by law).
How to make homemade carbonated water:
- Fill your stainless steel growler with about 3/4 (1500ML) or a little more (you just need to leave a couple of inches of airspace), and screw on the top assembly.
Make sure the liquid is ice cold, this will help speed up the process of carbonating. CO2 absorbs into cold liquids much better than warm or room temp.
- Set the pressure on your regulator to about 15PSI.
- Attach the ball lock disconnect to the gas-in post.
- Pull the pressure relief valve a few times. This will purge out the oxygen inside the mini keg and replace it with CO2.
- Increase the pressure on your regulator to 30-35 PSI and begin shaking the growler. You will hear the CO2 forcing itself into the growler.
- Do this for about 1 minute and your carbonated beverage is ready to enjoy!

How to make homemade Sparkling Water & Seltzers in the SS Growler
Using the all-new stainless steel vessels to make your sparkling water and seltzers is a little different than using the traditional 2L soda bottle with carbonation cap, but easier with multiple advantages! Unlike the soda bottles with carbonation caps that need to be removed to pour your beverage out, the SS growlers are outfitted with a draft faucet which allows you to simply pour exactly how much you want at any given time. This also keeps all the pressure inside the container, keeping your carbonation levels as high as possible. When you remove the carbonation cap on the plastic bottles, all that pressure inside the bottle escapes, and you begin to lose some carbonation. So in the long run, these stainless steel soda makers will help keep your carbonation levels higher for the life of the liquid in the growler, as well as save you CO2!
