The 5 gallon cold brew coffee keg is the most popular keg size we sell for cold brew and nitro coffee. This keg is also great for those serving at events, or need a lighter more portable option. Its a classic size for taking to parties, tailgates, farmers markets! It's the same diameter as the smaller 2.5 and 3 Gallon cold brew kegs, but just a buit taller giving you twice as much cold brew in one keg!
One of the main benefits to homebrew style corny kegs is that they have a large lid on top, which allows you to easily open the keg for cleaning and filling. Compared to the commercial style beer kegs where you need specialized equipment to fill and clean which is very expensive. So if you are cold brewing your own coffee and kegging yourself, these are they type of kegs you will want! If you are looking to serve nitro coffee from this keg, simply add a Quick Cascade Lid to the keg (this will replace the existing lid on the keg) and will allow you to nitrogenate your keg of cold brew coffee in a matter of minutes rather than waiting days for the nitrogen to infuse into the coffee, and will eliminate any need of shaking or agitating the keg to help infuse.

Awesome Italian-made Kegs

Recently had the opportunity to pick up 3 of these AEB kegs from Keg Outlet on sale for $99.99. I was somewhat concerned because other stores have claimed to be "Italian-made" but when they arrived, their were stamped "Made in India" Same AEB company I think, but not nearly the quality of workmanship. These are the real thing and are beautiful. Does it matter? Maybe, maybe not, but I expect to get what is advertised and Keg Outlet came through on that.
Additionally, there was a mix-up in total amount of the order (through PayPal) and I had to contact Keg Outlet. Again, i was concerned based on my history with internet shopping. However Brendan, the owner, contacted me within minutes of receiving my e-mail and I received a credit back from PayPal about 5 minutes after that. These guys seem to truly care about their customers. Great Job! If and when I need more equipment i will be back.

These kegs are excellent in quality. Equal in every way to the original Corny kegs, only new!
I use the 2.5 gallon for soda and carbonating mead. This is one of my favorite kegs.

Reconditioned kegs are so expensive these days that I decided to go all out and just purchase a brand new one. All of my home brew friends are jealous of my shiny new keg. It's a beauty!

I received my kegs quickly and packed like someone cared. No dents or dings, nice and shiny. Regrettably I ordered similar kegs from a different company, and the quality was so subpar.
