Standalone Stainless Steel Cold Brew Coffee Filter Basket

This stainless steel cold brew coffee filter basket is made from 50 micron stainless steel mesh and was designed to fit inside the Cold Brew Avenue Kettles, but these can be used with any other vessel that you may currently own or choose to use.

Cleanup is a breeze with our durable stainless steel filter baskets. Simply lift the basket with grounds, dump and rinse the remaining coffee grounds then wash with hot soapy water and allow to dry. We also suggest using a product that breaks up coffee oils such as Cafiza to keep the mesh clean and coffee flowing.
 

HEAVY CONCENTRATES: 
When doing large batches or heavy concentrates, your flow can significantly reduce as your coffee filters out of the cold brew system. If the flow has slowed or stopped from too many grounds, use a long plastic spoon to reach down to the bottom of the grounds and shift around gently to help the coffee to begin flowing again. 
Flow and drainage can also be improved by:  

• Using a very coarse grind coffee
• Making sure that the cold brew system is thoroughly cleaned between uses to remove any residual coffee oils in the stainless mesh
• Boiling your filter basket in water occasionally will help to remove any oily buildup that may occur from the coffee
• Make a lighter concentrate (make ready-to-drink coffee instead of concentrates)
