Sparkling Water Making Kit for Homemade Seltzer & Carbonated Waters — Soda Stream Alternative

This Soda Stream alternative home carbonating kit allows you to carbonate any beverage of your choice. Make your own sparkling water, soda, seltzer water, juice, beer or almost any other beverage you can think of using the sleek 2L, 3.6L, 5L or 8-liter Stainless Steel Single Handle Growler. You will need your own CO2 tank and gas line assembly with ball lock disconnect in order to pressurize this system.  If you have one of our other soda kits already, you can upgrade to this growler kit and your existing equipment will be compatible!

The kit Includes:

• Selected Size of Stainless Steel Single Handle Growler with Travelling Cap
• Carbonation Cap with Ball Lock Gas Disconnect and PRV
  - The carbonation cap is outfitted with a standard ball lock post to attach a ball lock disconnect to.

Carbonating sodas, seltzers, and any other beverage at home is extremely easy with this setup!  Everything you need to get started is included in this kit (all you need to do is get the CO2 tank filled - They ship empty by law). 

How to make homemade carbonated water:

(Recipe below for 2L Size)

1. Fill your stainless steel growler with about 3/4 (1500ML) or a little more (you just need to leave a couple of inches of airspace), and screw on the top assembly.
   Make sure the liquid is ice-cold, this will help speed up the process of carbonating. CO2 absorbs into cold liquids much better than warm or room temp. 
2. Set the pressure on your regulator to about 15PSI. 
3. Attach the ball lock disconnect to the gas-in post. 
4. Pull the pressure relief valve a few times.  This will purge out the oxygen inside the mini keg and replace it with CO2. 
5. Increase the pressure on your regulator to 30-35 PSI and begin shaking the growler.  You will hear the CO2 forcing itself into the growler. 
6. Do this for a couple of minutes - and you can shake the growler while carbonating to force the CO2 into the liquid faster.  
7. After the liquid has been carbonated you can release the pressure from the mini keg by pulling the Pressure Relief Valve (PRV), unscrew the cap, and pour your carbonated beverage into a glass straight from the mini keg.  

Use in conjunction with our Soda Extract Flavors, or use your own soda recipe. We often use it around here to make sparkling water.

How to make homemade Sparkling Water & Seltzers in the SS Growler

2L Mini Keg Dimensions:

• 8.5" Tall X 5.25" Diameter (capped growler only)
• 10.25" to the top of the ball lock post when carbonation cap is attached to the growler. 

3.6L Mini Keg Dimensions:

• 13" Tall X 5.25" Diameter (capped growler only)
• 14.75" to the top of the ball lock post when carbonation cap is attached to the growler. 

5L Mini Keg Dimensions:

• 11" Tall X 7.25" Diameter (capped growler only)
• 12.75" to the top of the ball lock post when carbonation cap is attached to the growler. 

8L Mini Keg Dimensions:

• 14.75" Tall X 7.25" Diameter (capped growler only)
• 16.5 to the top of the ball lock post when carbonation cap is attached to the growler.
