Stainless Steel Push-In Fitting - 8 mm (5/16 in.) x 1/4 in. NPT (Male Pipe Taper)

This fitting connects 8 mm (5/16 in.) tubing to a 1/4 in. NPT connection. The push-in side grabs your 8 mm line, and the threaded end screws into any 1/4 in. female pipe taper (FPT) port. That makes it a clean way to tie EVABarrier 4 mm x 8 mm tubing into CMBecker disconnects, regulators, and other gear that accepts a 1/4 in. male NPT.

It's built from stainless steel and uses a dual seal o-ring, the same design you'll find on Duotight-style push fittings. Two o-rings mean a more reliable seal and less chance of a slow leak on your gas or liquid line. And because it's stainless, it holds up better than plastic in high-use setups where fittings get connected and disconnected often.

How to Use It

• Cut your hose straight—not at an angle—then firmly push it into the fitting until it locks in place.
• To remove the hose, push back on the collet and pull the line out.
• Works with both liquid and gas lines. The o-rings are EPDM, which is chemical resistant.
• No clamps needed. The hose is held internally by the collet and o-rings.
• Don't use chlorinated cleaning solutions or bleach with this fitting. They'll degrade the seals.
