After reading about the refurbishing process, I still had my doubts. I thought it was simply the marketing team trying to make these used kegs look and sounds far better than they actually were. Despite my doubts, I went ahead and ordered one (I wish I had gotten 2) and upon arrival, I almost thought Keg Outlet made a mistake and sent me new kegs. These things are in pristine condition. Everything they note about the detail taken in the refurbishing process is true. The kegs came fully pressurized and in immaculate condition. I will definitely be buying more and will be recommending these to my friends.

Whenever I read 'used' or 'refurbished' I automatically think the worst, but after watching Keg Outlet's video highlighting these kegs and looking at the pictures and reading about the refurbishing process, I figured I'd give one of these kegs a go.

All I can say is WOW! This thing could be sold as new. It's in incredible shape.

My only regret is that I didn't order 4 at once... could have saved a bit on shipping!

Like my headline says, just do yourself a favor and buy these kegs over any other that you may be considering. Can you find used or reconditioned kegs cheaper elsewhere? Sure, you probably can, but I'm telling you, these things could almost be sold as new kegs. I was skeptical about the quality so I ordered a single one to test and was absolutely blown away by the cleanliness and quality of the keg. No markings, no stickers, no big dents or dings. These things are pristine!

So if you've been hunting for new kegs, take my word and give these things some serious consideration before buying anything else.

I did notice that the keg is advertised as holding 4.7 gallons, but I wish it held 5 gallons like most other corny kegs. This isn't a deal breaker for me, but it is a bit disappointing. I would still recommend this keg to other home brewers, but I do think it's important to be aware of the slightly smaller size. In quality and aesthetics, I'd give this keg a 5 out of 5 rating. It's a solid choice for a refurbished keg, but the 4.7 gallon size is why I only gave it a 4 out of 5. I would have given it a 4.7 out of 5 if I could have!
