Atosa Sharpening Stone for PPSL-10/PPSL-12/PPSL-14 - PSLP0011

This is the Atosa sharpening stone, part number PSLP0011, for the PrepPal PPSL-10, PPSL-12 and PPSL-14 manual gravity feed meat slicers. It is the stone in the slicer's built-in blade sharpener, the one that touches the blade edge when you press the sharpening button.

To confirm the fit, match the part number PSLP0011 and the model number on your slicer's data plate. This stone is not the part for the PPSL-12HD, which uses its own sharpening stone number.

On these slicers the sharpener holds two stones. Atosa's instructions call for holding the rear stone button down to sharpen the blade, for no more than one minute of constant sharpening, then pressing the front stone button for a few seconds to smooth the edge. Clean the blade edge first, since a dirty stone can't sharpen, and wear eye protection while you do it.

A worn stone is the part to replace when sharpening no longer improves the slices. Check the grinding stone in the same sharpener assembly at the same time, since it is a separate part.
