This is the genuine Atosa PPM1002 distance switch for the Atosa PrepPal PPM-10 10 qt planetary bench mixer. It is a replacement switch for the mixer's switch assembly.

To confirm the fit, check the model number on the mixer's data plate. This switch is for the PPM-10. The larger PPM-20 and PPM-30 floor mixers use their own distance switch part numbers, so do not order PPM1002 for those models.
Unplug the mixer before you open it up or remove any parts. If you are not comfortable working on the mixer's wiring, have a qualified electrical technician swap the switch. Match the part number PPM1002 when you order and you will get the same Atosa part the mixer shipped with.
