The smaller PPG-12 grinder uses a different blade, PPGP1204, so match the model on your grinder's data plate before you order. The PPG-22 blade is the one that goes with the #22 head and its 1/4 inch (6mm) and 5/16 inch (8mm) chopper plates.

If your grinder is tearing or smearing meat instead of cutting it cleanly, a dull or damaged blade is the first thing to check, along with the chopper plate it runs against. Atosa's manual says to pull the chopper plate off the propeller screw shaft first, then the blade, and to wipe both with mineral oil if they're going into storage. Don't wash them with steam or hot water after grinding chilled meat, and don't store them wet.
