Atosa Filter Pan for FPOF-50 Portable Fryer Filter - 22217001002

Atosa part number 22217001002 is the lift-out filter pan for the Atosa FPOF-50 50 lb portable fryer filter. It's the pan that rolls under the fryer drain and catches the hot oil. The paper support rack, filter paper and paper retainer rack all sit inside it, and the pump pulls oil from the pan through the inlet hose and sends it back to the fry pot through the flush hose.

Confirming the Fit

Match the part number, or check that the model number on the filter unit's data plate reads FPOF-50. Atosa's parts diagram for the FPOF-50 shows this part as 22217002002; 22217001002 is the same part under Atosa's parts-list number. The FPOF-80 takes a larger pan (447 x 777 mm), so measure your old pan if you're not sure which unit you have.

Replace the pan when it's dented, cracked or leaking. If oil is left sitting in the bottom of the pan after filtering, check the filter paper first: a torn sheet lets the pump draw air instead of oil.

The pan lifts out for cleaning. Empty it into a fireproof container at the end of each day, and keep water out of the pan and piping, since the pump relies on the oil for lubrication.
