Nylon Flare Washer for MFL Connections - 1/2"-16
This nylon flare washer creates a leak-proof seal between MFL (Male Flare) fittings and swivel nuts. It sits inside the swivel nut to provide a soft mating surface for the metal-to-metal connection, which is often where slow gas or liquid leaks start.
You'll typically use these on the threaded ends of MFL disconnects or tailpieces when you're attaching a swivel nut. It's a much more reliable solution than wrapping threads with Teflon tape, especially if your fittings have small scratches or imperfections on the flare face that prevent a perfect seal.
These are a standard replacement part for draft systems using flared connections and are cheap enough to keep a few spares in your toolbox for when a leak pops up during a keg swap.
Highlights
- Fits standard 1/2"-16 MFL tailpieces and disconnects.
- Creates a tight seal between swivel nuts and metal flare fittings.
- Eliminates the need for Teflon tape on flared connections.
- Stops slow gas and liquid leaks caused by scratched flare faces.

This is a must have for your draft system!
By No Leak Larry · September 19, 2018
As my headline states, this item is a MUST HAVE for any draft system! These should be placed inline where ever a swivel nut is used (or metal to metal connections). These are a lifesaver and definitely help prevent leaks.
Buy a dozen of them. Heck... buy 2 dozen!
