Stainless Steel Push-In Check Valve Fitting - 8 mm (5/16 in.)

This fitting connects two runs of 8 mm (5/16 in.) OD tubing and puts a one-way check valve right in the line. Gas or liquid flows one direction and can't back up the other way—which is exactly what you want on a CO2 line, a beverage line, or anywhere you need to stop backflow into a regulator or reservoir.

It's built from stainless steel and uses a dual seal o-ring, the same approach you'll find on Duotight-style push fittings. Two o-rings mean a more reliable seal and less chance of a slow leak on your gas or liquid line. And because it's stainless, it holds up better than plastic in high-use setups where the fittings get worked hard.

The push-in design means no clamps and no tools. Cut your line clean, push it in, and it locks. When you need to break it down, push back on the collet and pull the tubing out.

How to Use It

• Cut your hose straight—not at an angle—then firmly push it into the fitting until it locks in place.
• To remove the hose, push back on the collet and pull the line out.
• Works with both liquid and gas lines. The o-rings are EPDM, which is chemical resistant.
• No clamps needed. The hose is held internally by the collet and o-rings.
• Pay attention to flow direction when you install it—the check valve only lets fluid pass one way.
• Don't use chlorinated cleaning solutions or bleach with this fitting. They'll degrade the seals.
