Trough Style Keg Urinal, 1/2 Barrel Stainless Beer Keg with Flush Valve & Drain

The BBF-KU001T is a trough style keg urinal: one 1/2 barrel beer keg, the standard 15.5 gallon size, cut and welded into a wall-mount urinal 16 in across. The opening is wider than it is tall, which is what makes it the trough version. It goes in bars, taprooms, restaurants and man caves.

Before You Order a Beer Keg Urinal

These urinals don't come with any certifications your state may require, so check with your local plumbing inspector first. You'll also need a standard 1-1/2 in OD P-trap, which isn't included, and a plumber to connect it.

Trough Style vs. Standard Keg Urinal

Both use a 1/2 bbl keg with the same flush valve and drain. What changes is the opening. On this one it's 14 in wide and 11-1/4 in tall, and on the standard keg urinal it's the other way around. If you want a wider target, this is the one.

BBF-KU001T Flush Valve, Drain and Brackets

• Flush valve: GQXY GQ-817 brass flushometer. It shuts off by itself after each flush, the flow rate is adjustable, and it uses about 0.5 gallons per flush.
• Inlet: 3/4 in female threaded fitting that works with standard 3/4 in flush valves.
• Internal diffuser: rinses the inside of the keg on every flush.
• Drain and strainer: stainless steel drain at the bottom of the keg, with a stainless strainer.
• Mounting brackets: upper and lower 3-point brackets.

These are handmade in New York by American craftsmen, and each one is cut and welded with touch-safe edges. They're built when you order, not pulled off a shelf.

The urinal comes with mounting brackets. Bolts are not included.

For instalation you will need your main water pipe to flush valve and your plumber to install a standard “ p “ trap to the drain of the keg.

If you select the Keg Urinal with flush valve, it comes with a Zurn Z6003 valve. Note that the Zurn Z6003 comes in varying flush volumes from 0.125 gallons up to 1.0 gallons. If you prefer to select your own valve, valves can be found here.

NOTE: These urinals do not come with any certifications that your state may require. They are made from beer kegs, which are food-grade 304 stainless steel. Kegs may have some exterior scuffs / blemishes. Kegs are shipped to us banded together on a pallet which can cause some markings on their exteriors.

The keg urinal is outfitted with an Everflow 7571 Stainless Steel Flat Top Strainer Drain.
