Single Line Aluminum Cold Plate for Jockey Boxes
This cold plate is what chills your beer in a single-faucet jockey box setup. It is a heavy aluminum casting with 18 feet of stainless steel tubing embedded inside. You place this at the bottom of your cooler and keep it buried in ice to pull the heat out of your beverage as it flows from the keg to the faucet.
The aluminum block acts as a heat sink, transferring the cold from the ice to the beer traveling through the internal lines. For the best performance, you need to keep the plate in direct contact with the ice. Keep the drain on your cooler open so the plate doesn't sit in a pool of water, which can hinder the cooling process.
It uses standard 1/4" MFL threads and comes with 1/4" barb fittings for both the inlet and outlet. This is a reliable cooling solution for mobile draft setups where you don't have power for a flash chiller but need to serve cold beer consistently.
