To confirm the fit, match the part number PPM2003 and check the model number on your mixer's data plate. This guard is for the PPM-20. The PPM-10 and PPM-30 mixers use their own guard numbers, so do not order PPM2003 for those models.
Atosa's operating instructions say the guard should be rotated to the left to rest in its open position and closed to the right until it is fully closed, and that excessive force on the guard can damage the spring lock and the bowl guard micro switch. If the guard itself is damaged or seized, replace it with this genuine OEM part. Check the guard's distance switch as well if the mixer still will not run once the guard is closed.
Do not modify or tamper with safety switches. Always unplug the mixer before swapping the guard.
