The Atosa CookRite ATG-3624-C is a 36 in thermostatic chrome griddle for restaurant, diner and bar kitchens that run a lot of breakfast, burgers and sandwiches off the flat top. It sits on a countertop, runs on gas, and gives you a 36 in x 24 in cooking surface split into three independently controlled zones.
Highlights
- Chrome plating on the 1 in plate helps food release and cuts radiant heat into the kitchen.
- Three independent thermostats let you run a different temperature on each 12 in section.
- Each 30,000 BTU burner has a standby pilot for quick lighting.
- Standing pilot ignition shuts off the gas automatically if the pilot goes out.
- Front edge protrudes past the hot plate to keep operators farther from the hot surface.
- The 4 qt stainless grease drawer slides out from the front for cleaning.
Atosa ATG-3624-C Chrome Griddle Features
- Chrome plated plate: the 1 in thick griddle plate is chrome plated, which cuts radiant heat into the kitchen, helps keep food from sticking and limits flavor transfer between items.
- Thermostatic control: each 12 in section has its own thermostat, so you can hold eggs at one temperature and sear burgers at another on the same plate.
- Three burners: U-shaped 30,000 BTU burners sit under each 12 in section, each with a standby pilot.
- Pilot safety: standing pilot ignition shuts off the gas automatically if the pilot goes out.
- Splashes: 2 mm thick, 14-ga stainless steel rear and side splashes keep grease on the plate.
- Grease drawer: a stainless steel drawer holds 4 qt and pulls out from the front for cleanout.
Countertop Gas Griddle Build and Layout
The exterior and interior are stainless steel, and the unit stands on stainless steel legs. The front edge protrudes past the hot plate, so the operator's hands and forearms stay a little farther from the hot surface while working the line. Working height is 12-3/4 in.
Gas hookup is a 3/4 in NPT connection at the rear, and a regulator comes standard. Leave 6 in of clearance at the rear and 4 in to 6 in at the sides where the wall is combustible. Non-combustible construction needs no clearance.
