Welcome Our New Recipe and Pairings Contributor

Over the next month, we’ll be introducing our newest contributor – Tim Hass from Cooking with Brew. Tim is a craft beer expert who loves to dabble in cooking as well, so naturally, he began combining the two. After coming up with a few strong recipes that were a hit with friends and family, Tim started blogging about his creations, but his hectic schedule made it difficult for him to run and manage his blog while documenting and writing about his creations. That’s where we come in. We’re partnering with Tim to help fill a small void in our content, as well as to give Tim an established audience who will likely be interested in seeing his recipes.

Over the next couple months, we’ll be migrating some of Tim’s original recipes from his site to the Keg Outlet Blog, and in that time, we’re also hoping that Tim will have the time to write a brief introductory post introducing himself and giving a little background. In the meantime, here are some of the creations he has come up with in the past:

Tim is currently the Beverage Manager and Craft Beer Specialist for The Four Seasons Resort and is in the process of organizing a Father’s Day Brew Fest at the resort. We’re excited for Tim to join us and can’t wait to see what he cooks up next! In the mean time, here’s a little about Tim from his previous blog:

Trial and error has been one of my best methods. My wife and I have been coming up with recipes made with beer for the last few years. Some things we try work (these recipes make it to the website) and other times they don’t. The art of creating a great tasting dish made with beer, comes in selecting the right type of beer for the recipe. There are so many different blends of beer that each one has a distinct flavor. Those beers can add a special touch to any dish.
