Finally found the faucet that I see at breweries! November 3, 2015

I have been looking for this faucet for a long time. I've seen these used at many of the large breweries that I visit - most recently, Stone Brewing in Escondido, CA.

- Nice polished look
- Nice compact handle design
- Creamer function is awesome
- The flat front plate looks like it can be replaced with your own design/sticker

- Cost

All in all, this is a great faucet that does a great job pouring beer. There's gotta be something good about them if some of the breweries are using them, right?

Functions as described but with rough edges November 3, 2015

I write this review after my initial experience with my V2G faucet after receiving it from Keg Outlet.

First impressions on inspection: The unit I received was not quite as polished as I would hope for a faucet that carries the higher end price tag, both literally and figuratively. The first thing I noticed was the spout which extends down from the faucet body. This piece appears to be stainless as advertised but has a slightly darker and non- polished finish unlike the rest of the unit. The polished body also had a couple noticeable/ apparent scratches. Not a big deal, but again, when purchasing a new and more pricey faucet, it would be nice to have it come without flaws. That being said, the largest strike in my book came from what in my opinion is either true damage or poor manufacturing to the unit. Around the round of the logo on the very front of the faucet, my finger found a sharp and rough edge rather surprisingly. This rough edge is somewhere between 1/5 and 1/3 of the entire circumference of the round. All of these things seem more noticeable when compared to my Perlick faucets which all have a highly polished finish without flaws and were actually a bit less expensive.

Function: Install was simple and straightforward as expected. The handle is of good quality, maybe slightly nicer than my Perlicks in my opinion. However, because of the bi- directional function, the feel of engaging the pour function is not as crisp as other faucets. It feels as though you need to very carefully return the faucet to the center position to get it to stop dripping. The creamer function as best I can tell after a little use works as expected. The spring (piston) tension on handle is more noticeable and comfortable with this function.

Overall: If you really want a creamer function for those particular beer styles where this may be desirable, the V2G seems to work for that function. But in my opinion, the rough edges both literal and figurative make me hesitate to recommend it or purchase again even when on sale. Compared to my forward sealing Perlick 630ss and 650ss which I would highly recommend, Maybe try a V3S instead, especially if mismatched finishes bothers you.

Just my short term and honest opinions, your mileage may vary
