This union adapter has a 1/4" MFL (male flare thread) to 1/2" MPT (male pipe thread).

This piece will allow you to attach a facuet to your stainless steel cold brew coffee maker, with a facuet adapter and facuet to serve directly from the front of the system.

Handy as heck...but leaks

I got this to transfer from my fermenter to a keg (1/2" camlock to ball lock). It works great for that! The bummer is that it doesn't seal well on the flare end, since there isn't any washer/bushing like most fittings have. So there is a perpetual drip whenever I'm moving liquid.

Hey Josh, thanks for taking the time to leave a review! Metal to metal connections can sometimes leak, you can solve that on the MFL end by adding a tailpiece washer (/tailpiece-washer-1-4-inch.html). Hope this helps!
