How to Setup a Mini Keg - Stainless Steel Mini Keg Dispensing Systems

Video: How to Setup and Use a Stainless Steel Mini Keg Dispensing Systems

Here's a revised step-by-step guide for assembling your mini keg without including the directive "in a well-worded" as it's not necessary:

Your mini keg arrives complete with all the necessary components for carbonating and dispensing your favorite beverages. The kit includes a stainless steel Growler, available in various sizes, along with the dispensing head, flow control faucet, pickup tube, faucet wrench, and faucet handle.

Assembling the mini keg is straightforward:

  1. Start by unscrewing the cap from the mini keg.
  2. Attach the pickup tube to the dispensing head by placing it over the threaded portion of the dispenser.
  3. Measure the required length of tubing by positioning it on the top side of the keg and cutting it to reach the bottom.
You want the hose to be able to reach the bottom of the keg in order to suck up all the liquid inside of it.
  4. Insert the tube into the keg and screw on the dispenser head.
  5. Align the draft faucet vertically and secure it in place by turning the collar counterclockwise until hand tight.
  6. Use the faucet wrench to further secure the collar by locking it into one of the collar holes.
  7. Finally, screw the faucet handle onto the faucet.

Understanding how a flow-control faucet works:

The flow control faucet features a lever on its side to regulate liquid flow, particularly useful for dispensing highly carbonated beverages:

  • Position the lever to the back to shut off the flow completely.
  • Gradually move the lever forward to allow the liquid to start flowing.
  • When the lever is straight, it indicates the fully open position.

With the assembly complete, you're now ready to craft your favorite carbonated beverages at home!
